One of the most unique creations of nature, the natural boundary of Arslanbob is a magnificent blooming oasis. Here, at an altitude of more than 1600 m above sea level, in magnificent climatic conditions of neighboring air masses, magnificent nut-tree forests stretch over a total area of more than 700 thousand hectares.
The local walnut forests are considered to be the largest on the planet. Only here there are specimens up to 30 meters high, whose age can exceed 1000 years. But, despite such venerable summers, the trees successfully fruit and can give up to 200-400 kg of nuts per year.
In general, a walnut tree is a unique tree, everything is useful in it literally: nuts – a storehouse of vitamins, minerals and fatty acids, leaves and branches containing iodine and tanning substances, as well as wood with an excellent pattern of fibers – an indispensable material for making highly artistic items from tree.
